Cheryl Cole's lawyers have penned a strongly worded letter.
And they're threatening legal action.
They've written to Heat magazine over its cover story this week.
Chezza is wanting an apology for an article the mag wrote called "Cheryl's Fury", about her storming out of a Vogue photo shoot but which Cheryl's people say is untrue.
The Guardian claim to have seen the letter from Cheryl's lawyer, which said that Heat had not attempted to check out the facts with Cheryl's rep or Vogue.
"If you had put the allegation to Vogue before publication, you would have been told that it was false," is what is says.
"It has to be inferred that your dominant motivation was to publish a sensational front page story in order to sell the magazine without any concern about whether it was true," the letter states.
According to The Guardian, Cheryl's now wanting an apology from the mag, a retraction and payment of her legal costs - if they don't, it's believed her people will press on with legal action and seek damages.
At the moment, both camps are staying quiet on the subject, although Cheryl's solicitor, David Price, has confirmed that the letter was sent.
