Cheryl Cole has mouthed off about her X Factor co judge Simon Cowell.
One week after he reduced her to tears on-air, the pop star admits that Mr Nasty can be "rude" and "really annoying".
Cheryl, who got upset after Simon criticised her song choices for under-25 contestants Lloyd Daniels and Rikki Loney on diva night, told the BBC: "It gets quite heated backstage, and quite competitive.
"I don't feel like I'm a competitive person. I feel like the best person should win The X Factor, whether they're in my category
or not. But he (Simon) is so competitive and so rude sometimes that I find myself getting caught up in it."
When the reporter suggested that Cheryl should "just lamp him", she replied: "I should, shouldn't I?"
The singer, currently at number one in the UK charts with her single Fight For This Love, admitted she'd experienced trouble staying calm over the X Factor competition.
"I don't sleep very well. Not at all," she confessed. "I have a really bad sleep pattern. And my heart's beating constantly, so it doesn't matter what I eat. It just disintegrates."
