In fact recent events have got her all shook up...

She's apparently keen as mustard to get herself a safe haven - away from Blighty.

The word is she's on the cusp of signing a deal on a property in Spain with 24-hour security, after a string of scary experiences.

Chezza and her hubby Ashley hope to complete on the new £5m house in Puerto Banus, near Marbella, by the time The X Factor starts again on the 16th August.

A friend told Now mag: "She just can’t afford to take any chances.

"All the girls have recognised that the occasional fan getting tooGirls Aloud close is a hazard of  their fame, but Cheryl has a higher profile than the others."

But we ain't surprised that she's got her La Perlas in a twist.

It transpired last week that she’s been under threat from a twisted internet blogger - the guy was arrested and charged last week after a year of writing about kidnapping, raping and butchering Girls Aloud on a sick website.

The stories written even detailed how the man would sell their mutilated body parts on eBay.

"Cheryl’s terrified," said the friend. "She’s been in one too many threatening situations that she worries might turn nasty."

Well, we wish we could wrap you up in some Showbiz cotton wool, Cheryl - but perhaps the villa is a more glam alternative.
