We bet you never thought you'd hear that question.

But the Girls Aloud babe has been instructed to put on some weight ahead of her gutsy Mount Kilimanjaro climb in aid of Comic Relief.

According to Heat magazine, Chezza has been put on a low glycaemic index diet in order to beef up for the African trek.

"She's not too skinny to do the trek any more – she's put on weight and has been putting her heart and soul into the training," a source close to Chezza told Heat.

"She's been working hard with Ashley's instructor practically every day."

Like many of the stars participating in the event, Chezza is eating low GI foods in order to prepare for the 5,981m mountain climb, and apparently she's taking it very seriously.

"She's been eating more and making a big effort to eat," the source said. "They will be burning lots of calories over the course of the trek and it’s estimated they will all lose half a stone to 10lbs, so she will more than likely lose the weight she’s put on anyway."

Chezza has even been feasting on chocolate in her bid to bulk up.

"They've all been told to bring their favourite sugary snack, and apparently Cheryl has chosen chocolate buttons."
