Chezza invited her singers - Diane Vickers, Alexandra Burke and Laura White - over for dinner.

Not only that but she's going to be getting a whacking great phone bill as she spends oodles of time chatting to them on the blower.

Alexandra told the Daily Mirror: "She even texted me at 2am last night to see how my hair was dSimon Cowelloing."

But the word is Simon Cowell ain't so free and easy with his time.

Rumours abound that he only keeps in touch with his fellas - Scott Bruton, Austin Drage and Eoghan Quigg - through his personal assistant, even though their first appearance on the X Factor stage is only around the corner.

A source for the show told the paper: "He's not exactly been hands on. Simon is busy but he could have called to make them feel special."

Scott added: "He's always in LA doing promotion for American Idol, flitting here and there."

But an X Factor spokeswoman said: "Simon has been away but has a team of experts, who he is in constant contact with, working with his singers."

Well let's just hope that's enough for his boys to shine on the show.
