Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
So if you ask us, Cheryl Cole better watch out.
She's taken another sly swipe at frenemie Victoria Beckham.
And what she's said is enough to make stronger women than Posh see red...
In an interview with the Guardian, Cheryl panned her fellow Wag's fashion line, commenting that it is for "older women".
Trying to salvage the verbal blooper, Chez's band mate Kimberley Walsh cut in, saying:
"She means older than us. Not, you know..."
Failing to take the hint, Cheryl ploughed on: "Yeah, it's not like stuff we would wear." Miaow.
Those who follow the celeb bitching trail will note this isn't the first time Chez has taken an oral swing at the mum-of-three.
She recently talked about her disappointment that Vic didn't get in touch after allegations of Ashley Cole's affairs hit the press early last year.
"I mean, David's mum is friends with Ashley's mum, she (Beckham) was in my hotel room the whole time during the World Cup - we've had barbecues together - so I was quite shocked by that," Cheryl told Vogue of Vic's omission to contact her during that tough time.
So, with round two of verbal non-niceties under her belt, what we want to know is will Vic rise to the bait and respond to Cheryl's drip-drip of tacit digs?
Who knows.
But while this conflict is hardly handbags at dawn in the manner of Jordan 'n' Jodie, it's certainly a long way off the cosy snaps of Cheryl 'n' Posh together at the 2006 World Cup...
Let the tongue-bashing fireworks continue.
