Kym, who plays Michelle Connor in the soap, will get £100,000 after signing for another year.
She's also negotiated more flexible working hours to spend extra time with her kiddiewinks.
A source told the Daily Mirror: "Kym loves Corrie.
"When producers offered a new contract and more money she didn't hesitate. They promised her character will have more big story lines."
Kym has been keeping herself busy with work after splitting with hubby Jack Ryder back in March.
The source added: "Kym has been trying to spend as much time as she can with her kids.
"The break-up was amicable and Jack will carry on seeing them but she wants to be around for them."
