So we could hardly believe our ears when we heard Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson might be getting back together.

Reports suggest that, one month on from their highly publicised break-up, the former lovebirds continue to spend lots of time with each other.

Lindsay herself recently told E! News that her and Sam were "in touch" and remain friends.

The star is also said to have changed her Blackberry messenger name to "LL loves Sam Ronson", over the past few weeks.

Added to which, a number of different insiders have claimed that Li-Lo spent Tuesday night at her ex's Los Angeles home.

One source told People: "Sam might eventually take Lindsay back... It wouldn't surprise anyone."

Another friend of Lindsay's added: "It's a cycle that can go on forever. Now that things have died down a little and Lindsay is behaving herself and showing Sam what she wants to see, Sam's strength to stay away eases up."

Hmm... so what to make of all this criss-cross of romantical rumblings?

Well, Li-Ro famously enjoyed a tumultuous relationship, even when they were still loved-up.

So the idea that they might be experiencing a change of heart on their break-up now isn't impossible to imagine - whatever harsh words might've been said in between.
