Us ordinary folk aren't the only ones with financial worries at the mo.
Girls Aloud sizzler Sarah Harding is also being hit by the credit crunch.
True, she's not exactly out of pocket...
But she is addressing the tres serious issue of the global financial crisis - via a new TV drama.
Sarah's set to star as a high-maintenance blonde (funny, that) for a BBC film about the economic disaster that has gripped the nation over the past few months.
The 26-year-old will play the beautician girlfriend of a moneybags City banker in the programme, titled Freefall, which will also star Lily Allen's bro Alfie Allen.
Though her acting abilities are limited to lightweight cameo roles in films such as St Trinian's, Sarah seems positive about this rather serious thespian move.
Chatting about the drama, written by Dominic Savage, Sarah told The Sun:
"Dominic's films are all about improvisation, which is pretty challenging, but that's also a big reason why I want to do the project.
"It's so different to what I'm used to. It's a bit nerve-wracking to not have all my girls (Girls Aloud) around me. They're really supportive though."
For his part, Dominic said: "This is a film that reflects our obsession with wanting more, wanting everything, the desire in many of us to gain the world, but in doing so, potentially lose our souls."
Jeez, Sarah - good luck with portraying that.
