The 25-year-old says the unprovoked assault almost killed her.

She has vowed never to go clubbing again.

Danielle underwent emergency surgery after allegedly being pushed onto a table of glasses by fellow party-goers at Crystal nightclub in London's West End last Sunday.

For legal reasons, she is unable to go into too much detail about the attack, which happened on a night out with her Spurs boyfriend Jamie O'Hara, and left her with a six inch wound on her back and serious scaring on her legs.

However, she did tell the News Of The World about what happened immediately after the incident.

"I could feel myself slipping away," she recalled. "I really thought I was going to die. I was lying in a pool of my own blood, just screaming.

"There was blood everywhere - all over me, all over the floor, all over Jamie, all over everyone round me. And I was just so scared because I knew it was all my blood."

Danielle also revealed her shock at the way some onlookers laughed and took photos of her, as she lay bleeding on the pavement outside the club: "I'll never forget that," she said. "I can't believe how sick and nasty some people can be. Their behaviour was disgusting. "

On a more positive note, Danielle paid tribute to her relatively new fella Jamie and his behaviour during the trauma, insisting: "He's been my rock, my strength throughout. After surgery he even crept into my tiny single hospital bed and cuddled me all night."
