Danielle LloydDanielle LloydDanielle Lloyd has spoken out about hitting rock bottom.

It follows a tough few years for the reality TV babe, who faced public hatred after being accused of racism on Celeb BB two years ago and was often attacked by women who'd hurl abuse at her.

Dan admits that until recently she was binge-drinking several times a week and her self-esteem had hit a new low.

"I'd have drunk myself to death or taken my own life," she bravely admitted to the News Of The World's Fabulous magazine.

"I'd hit my lowest point - I'd lost control and wondered what it would be like not to be alive. I was drinking because I had no other way of coping."

After several disastrous relationships with high-profile footballers, including Birmingham City star Marcus Bent and Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe, Dani's meltdown began in earnest a year ago.

"I found out about a Facebook page called 'I Hate Danielle Lloyd,'" she explains.

"It sent me over the edge. I spent two weeks in my flat crying. I realised I was having a sort of breakdown.

"I wanted to stop drinking and get my life back together. I knew I was at rock bottom. I didn't dare leave my flat and panicked at the thought of going out."

With the help of a friend Dani found a therapist and confessed to her: "I drink to make it stop hurting. I wonder what it would be like to be dead."

She says now: "Therapy saved my life. Without it, I don't know what would have happened."

After years of picking "the wrong guys" Dani's currently loved-up with Tottenham midfielderDanielle LLoyd Danielle Lloyd Jamie O'Hara, who she says she trusts completely.

And after an incident in a club which saw her seriously injured after she crashed through a table of glasses, Dani says she's done with the party circuit and wants a quieter life.

She says: "I've taken steps away from being the old Danielle. It's made me a nicer person. I might not be able to change other people's opinions of me, but I've changed my own."

Best of luck, Dani.
