Danielle Lloyd Danielle Lloyd Danielle Lloyd has revealed she was beaten by a former boyfriend.

In a documentary to be aired tonight, the 25-year-old tells of her violent experience at the hands of an ex.

She's also bravely released a photo of her injuries, in a bid to highlight domestic abuse.

In a Comic Relief special called Dangerous Love, to be broadcast tonight on BBC3, Danielle releases the shocking photo, which shows her with a black eye, broken cheekbone and swollen lips.

The 25-year-old took it on her mobile, after her then-partner attacked her.

She said she dated the man, who has not been named, for two years, and considered him to be "a lovely, generous boyfriend" when they first met.

However, his controlling side soon became clear, she said.

"He'd call me a slag. Soon he started hitting me," she recalled.

"Every time, he'd cry and say it wouldn't happen again. Towards the end he was hitting me nearly every day."

After the final attack, Danielle passed out "for three or four minutes" and woke up with "blood all over me, all over the bed, all over the walls." She then spent a week in hospital.

Danielle hopes that by revealing her experience she will help other victims of domestic abuse.

"It saddens me to read about violent relationships," she said. "I'd advise any woman not to return to an abusive partner."
