These two are as thick as thieves, according to the Spanish songstress.

Even though Ruth's been booted from the show, the pair have remained firm friends - so much so that they're off on their jollies together.

"Dannii is amazing. The best judge in the whole world. I speak to her on the phone literally everyday," she said.

"We're so close. I'm even going back home with her to visit Australia when she goes to see her family next time. I cannot wait."

Ruth also defended Dannii against the criticism she's received as a judge on The X Factor this series - as any good bud would.

She said: "You only really get to know Dannii when you become close to her. Then you see what a beautiful person she truly is."
