It's a long way away from Big Brother...
But we've all got skeletons hidden in the closet.
And laid-back housemate Darnell Swallow is no exception.
This mugshot, taken from 2006, reveals the darker side of the 26-year-old songwriter's past.
The snap shows Darnell lining up against a height line in an orange jumpsuit, after he was arrested for violating probation on drug-related charges.
He had previously been sentenced to 120 hours community service, but having reportedly broken the conditions of the sentence, he was then forced to do time behind bars in the US.
Darnell, who was raised in the States before being deported back to the UK, has come clean to the other contestants on his prison past, telling them: "I’ve been to jail, man."
He added: "I have a lot of friends still in jail and they will be for a long time."
