Not all celebs love journalists.
But most manage to rise to the occasion.
The same can't be said for David Duchovny in London last night.
We've no idea what got the 47-year-old actor's goat on the red carpet of The X Files: I Want To Believe, but whatever it was, he couldn't shake it off.
Surrounded by a group of journos, including Sky Showbiz, David refused to crack one smile during the interview process, and answered questions as briefly as possible, ignoring some altogether.
Asked about the ecstatic reaction of the fans in the background of London's Leicester Square, the actor, who plays FBI special agent Fox Mulder in the flick, said simply:
"It's gratifying that people love the show so much. I don't know what else to say. I guess it's that kind of a show."
He then dismissed one reporter who asked: "Would you mind reading out this line to introduce yourself to camera?", replying curtly and without a shred of humour:
"Yes, I would."
With the Q&A episode going rapidly going downhill, one person cut in to ask David whether fans always asked him about aliens.
"Only people like you," David retorted.
Ouch. Well, the only fun thing Sky Showbiz did manage to coax out of David is that he's going on holiday tomorrow. Toodles, Dave.
And judging from this grumpy outing, he's well in need of it.
