After one of the most acrimonious divorces in showbiz history it seems Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen are finally being civil to each other.

And it's all thanks to Charlie's newborn twins.

After Brooke Mueller Sheen gave birth to twin boys Bobby and Max on Saturday, Denise actually visited the bairns in hospital - while Charlie was there.

Brooke Mueller and Charlie Sheen Denise earlier gushed to Extra: "I'm so happy for them.

"The girls (Denise's daughters with Charlie - Sam, five and three-year-old Lola) are really excited that they're big sisters now.

"They've already made them a couple of pictures and they can't wait to see them."

This from the woman who went on TV in 2006 to claim her husband gambled every day of their three-year marriage, took large quantities of painkillers, looked at questionable internet porn sites and threatened her life if she went public about the extent of his obsessions.

There's nothing like a birth to bring people together.
