RihannaUS media reports are claiming that Rihanna was visited by her ex Chris Brown in a New York hotel.

The star checked into the Trump International Hotel & Tower in Manhattan on Friday.

The New York Daily Post report that Chris joined her there soon after.

According to the newspaper, the couple reunited "under a cloak of secrecy" after checking into separate rooms.

"They spent the next two days coming and going in separate chauffeured vehicles from the underground garage of the 52-story Columbus Circle building," the publication reports.

20-year-old Chris has been banned from coming within 50 yards of Rihanna - or 10 yards at an industry event - after pleading guilty to felony assault on the singer in June.

He later apologised for the incident in a public video, saying: "What I did was inexcusable. I have told Rihanna countless times, and I'm telling you today, that I am truly, truly sorry."

Rihanna's rep has now spoken out to deny she met up with Chris while staying at the hotel.

"This was a coincidence. She's stayed there before as have thousands of other people," the publicist told Splash News.
