She and hubby David Arquette are in the spotlight again with speculation that all is not well between them.

But having watched best pal Jennifer Aniston go through one of the most high-profile marriage break-ups ever, Courteney has some pretty strong opinions about divorce.

And the actress has decided to share them, too.

"I get shocked by people getting divorced all the time," Court said.

"Before my dad died, he said one of his big regrets was that he hadn't worked on his marriage enough.

"I don't know what the future's going to hold but divorce isn't really an option."

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it all you gossipmongers out there.

Courteney and Dave have always been frank about the lack of fairytale-ness to their marriage - and openly admit they go to couples therapy.

"It's so easy to grow apart; marriage takes work.

"I suppose you can work it out by talking to each other - I would just prefer to have a referee, it reminds us why we're together," Courteney admits.
