Heard the goss that Elle Macpherson is dating a convicted criminal?
The rumour kicked off after Elle was seen driving former cocaine smuggler Brian Burgess around Chelsea in her Aston Martin.
But now Elle herself has decided to put the record straight (through the medium of her lawyers, natch)...
And it's been confirmed that Brian, who is also the head of Aussie Man & Van, is a mate and nothing more:
"Miss Macpherson emphatically denies that there is any romantic association between her and Mr Brian Burgess.
"Miss Macpherson is disappointed her friendship with Mr Burgess has been so casually misrepresented for commercial sensationalism.
"Miss Macpherson is aware of Mr Burgess's past conduct and also that Mr Burgess has and continues to take significant steps towards restoring his life."
Well strewth Elle, don't get your knickers in a twist about it all.
