It was ladies' night at the MTV European Music Awards in Liverpool yesterday.
But X Factor sensation Leona Lewis went home empty-handed.
The singer was up for two major gongs at the bash - act of 2008 and album of the year - but lost out to Britney Spears in both categories.
By bagging both awards, Brit became one of the biggest stars of the night, though she failed to make it to Liverpool to be honoured in person.
Punk chick Pink also had reason to celebrate, after collecting the most addictive track prize for her hit single So What, while Katy Perry nabbed best new act.
