Because there's no denying her normally chiselled mug looks rather rounded here.

Not so long ago Eva was fending off rumours that she was pregnant.

She insisted her new, more womanly figure has all been in the name of work, as her Desperate Housewives character Gabrielle Solis packs on the pounds.

Eva even told Hollywood Scoop: "Victoria (Beckham) gave me a couple of Here's Eva in mid-Marchpairs (of jeans) and I love them. They were so tight, my gut was hanging over the top before dinner.

"Then, we came out of the restaurant and I was totally bloated. And now, apparently I have a baby bump."

Now we'd like to shift the focus to her mug.

In all fairness, she is on the set of DH so her swollen face could just be down to prosthetics for her character's sake.

We certainly hope that's the case.
