A man has been taken into police custody for allegedly threatening Fearne Cotton.
Police arrested the 21-year-old suspect in Derby on Sunday, after Fearne received threatening text messages while presenting the Official Chart Show with co-host Reggie Yates.
Scotland Yard said the man has been cautioned and given a harrasment warning.
According to The Sun, the threats were so "severe" the 27-year-old DJ was given a police escort home from the Radio 1 studios.
A spokesman for the Met police said: "A 21-year-old man was arrested in connection with sending threatening SMS text messages.
"He subsequently received a caution.
"He also received a first issue harassment warning."
We're awaiting comment from Fearne's rep.
