And, we thought that Fearne Cotton and Steve Jones made such a cute couple...

Apparently, the pair have gone their separate ways after only three months.

However, it might not be making either of them too sad, if the chattering insiders are to be believed.

"It was a whirlwind affair and initially extremely intense," a source told the Daily Mirror. "Unfortunately though, things fizzled out just as quickly."

For Steve, rumours persist that he's not ready for commitment.

The TV spunk is well known for his Lothario ways, after being linked to a string of A-list stars, like Halle Berry, Natalie Imbruglia and Pamela Anderson.

"Steve isn't ready to settle down and commit to one lady," said the source.

They added: "Neither party has any regrets, as it was great while it lasted. They had a lot of fun but if Fearne is going to be with someone there has got to be more to it than this."

We're waiting for confirmation, but perhaps it'll be a matter of seeing one of them with someone else that gives the game away.
