It's been a year since Fiona Phillips left the GMTV sofa.
But she's now set to return to the spotlight once again.
The 48-year-old mum-of-two has signed up to present a new Sky Real Lives show about the dedication of those serving in the British Armed Forces.
Due to air in Spring 2010, the programme is named Forces Reunited.
It aims to explore the emotional aspects of war, such as fathers returning from the conflict to be introduced to their baby for the first time, or reuniting World War II friends after many years apart.
Fiona, who has two boys with her GMTV editor husband Martin, told New! magazine: "It (the programme) is right up my street.
"I'd be lying if I said I wanted to be a full-time mum, because I don't," she went on.
"I adore my sons (Nathaniel, 10, and Mackenzie, 7), but I've worked since the age of 11 and need to be stretched."
