The ever-changing frames of Girls Aloud are well scrutinised.
Even though we've heard it all before, the girls want to set the record straight.
Yes, they may be as thin as toothpicks, but they assure us they munch as much as we do.
In an interview with Now magazine, the girls are more feisty than ever in hitting out at their critics.
Kimberley Walsh defends the pop stars' skinniness.
"The skinny thing? I'm sick to death of reading about people's weight. People try to put pressure on us, but it's not us that's making an issue of it. Some of the girls are thin but we are all healthy. We all eat a lot, actually."
Sarah Harding adds: "I'm always having to defend myself. We're all so honest, that's the problem. You always feel like you're having to stick up for yourself."
She claims the girls gain weight in the winter months, but it's easily burnt off doing gigs in the summer months.
Nicola Roberts adds her tuppence worth, claiming: "I don't like being naturally slim and being called skinny is as bad as being called overweight."
Exercise is off the cards for Nadine, who says she has a hang-up with her toothpick legs.
"If I was bothered about my weight I'd do sit-ups and work out, but I won't because I'm not."
If only it was that easy for the rest of us...
