Strapping Scotsman Gerard Butler is in a bit of trouble with the law.
He has been charged with battery after a run-in with a paparazzo in October last year.
The incident followed a party after the Hollywood premiere of RocknRolla.
Los Angeles City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan confirmed that the 39-year-old was part of the scuffle and could face up to six months in jail if convicted.
His manager, Alan Siegel, added that the actor's driver was forced to stop the car after a paparazzo repeatedly sped through red lights and almost struck two pedestrians.
Gerard is due in court on the 10th of June, but his lawyer, Blair Berk, says that the actor is not required to - and will not - appear in court on the charge.
