Gerard Butler's court case has been delayed.
The actor's arraignment - a formal reading to inform him of charges he faces - has been postponed until mid-August.
Gerard's up against a charge of misdemeanour battery after an alleged run-in with a pap in LA last October.
He is accused of punching a photographer after leaving the premiere party of RocknRolla.
Gerard, who is currently filming new movie Bounty Hunter with Jennifer Aniston in New Jersey, will get up to six months in jail if he's convicted.
