The couple have been subject to the engagement rumour mill on numerous occasions in the last couple of months.

And now the supermodel herself has something to say about the latest gossip.

"I don't know how people are so creative," she told Brazilian mag Caras Gi.

"First TMZ said he proposed to me in a plane. Imagine, it was Dec 24, Christmas, we were flying to Boston, then there was some champagne and we celebrated the date."

"Now there's a new rumour in People magazine that he proposed to me on last Friday. I wasn't even there, how can that be true?" she said.

Gisele then went on to address the tattle of an impending wedding in Costa Rica, yet curiously hinted that a walk down the aisle could be on the cards in the future.

"This talk of Costa Rica must be for the fact I have a house there," she said.

"I don't know yet if it's going to be here or in another country, but what I know is that it's going to be something small, a simple ceremony. I don't like parties, I prefer something more intimate, just for the closest people."

So there you have it folks, Gigi hasn't got the ring, but it seems she's already planning the big day.
