But the rumblings about Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady's engagement are getting louder and louder.

Could these two finally be heading for matrimonial bliss?

People magazine have reported that Tom proposed to Gisele on the weekend, and the supermodel accepted.

According to the mag, Tom presented his gorgeous gal with a rather large solitaire diamond rock.

"He asked and she accepted," a source told People.Tom Brady

"The couple is discussing a huge fashionista event in the spring or a more intimate and quicker ceremony in Costa Rica, where Gisele has a home."

Apparently, an official confirmation from Gisele's camp is expected to be released this week.

Before the New Year, Tom's dad dispelled rumours of a Crimbo engagement after festive tales emerged that Tom got down on bended knee, telling The Boston Globe they were just: "rumours, rumours, rumours."

But it's a New Year, and a fresh allegation... Time will tell.
