Gwyneth Paltrow has bravely waded into the Madonna-Guy Ritchie divorce drama.
She's staked her claim to one side of the split...
Will Madge be happy with what she has to say?
Yup, we reckon Madge will be pretty thrilled to hear that her old-time pal Gwynnie is there for her, no matter what.
At the premiere of her new film, Two Lovers, Gwynnie was questioned by reporters about Madonna's divorce announcement and responded:
"She (Madonna) is a very good friend. I'm supporting her in all the ways that I can."
"I'm just there for her. I speak to her a lot," she added.
This declaration of support comes in complete contrast to previous goss that Gwynnie was totally opposed to the idea of Madonna divorcing and had begged her to reconsider for their sake of her family.
It was rumoured that Gwynnie had become particularly close to Madonna's adopted toddler David and was wholly against the idea of breaking up his newly found base.
Still, now she's spoken for herself, it's clear where Gwyneth's loyalties lie.
Presumably Guy shouldn't expect a Christmas card from the Martins this year.
