Pamela Anderson, Avril Lavigne and Celine Dion have nowt in common, right?
Wrong - they're all proud of the beaver.
For the furry animal is a national symbol of Canada, the place they all hail from.
Pammy is a particularly special Canadian: she was born on this day in 1967.
That makes her a pretty big deal, for today is Canada Day (not to mention her birthday, of course - many happy returns, Pam).
So, perhaps Celine will sing for her homeland today?
And maybe Avril will don a pretty frock for the occasion (we said maybe) - one magazine even ranked her the seventh most powerful Canadian in Hollywood. Special.
We've decided to mark this marv day with a special gallery of our favourite Canadians - some of whom you may have thought were from the US.
Go on, celebrate and take a look - you'll get a few surprises.
