So what's the skinny on Nicole Richie?
The latest marital chat has us very excited.
Her man Joel Madden says they've got hitched.
Writing on his blog, Joel said:
"We did it, Nicole and I finally got married. Click here for pictures."
However, just as we were getting totally carried away on the edge of a mahoosive showbiz celebratory cloud, Joel let slip that he was in fact only joking.
"Ha ha. Just kidding," Joel continued.
"So I feel really stupid even posting this, but I've been getting calls and texts from my family all week asking me why they weren't invited to my wedding."
"I guess the only answer I could give them was that I didn't know we were having one.
"So I just found that Star magazine wrote some story about a $2m wedding we are supposed to be having, and that's where it came from.
"So if you were p***ed at me for not inviting you or even telling you, don't blame me, there's nothing to worry about," he finished.
To round off the happy hoax, Joel posted a snap of two gorillas in a tux and wedding dress, writing:
"Check out my blog for a picture of me and my beautiful bride. All I can say is I am so very happy."
