But Hugh Hefner's scored a double-whammy replacement.

Not only are they, erm, "hot" twins, they've got criminal records too.

Yup, when news hit our ears that Hughie had been made "roadkill" of by former Bunny Holly, we truly felt sorry - who would be there to take care of his 82-year-old bones?

Especially since there's talk of another of his live-in girlfs, Kendra Wilkinson, also jumping ship - reportedly running off with an improbably named fella called Hugh Basket. Karissa and Kristina Shannon kiss Hugh Hefner

But, thankfully, there's no call for us Showbiz Shedders to fret as Hef is happily rebounding into the arms of Kristina and Karissa Shannon.

However, the delightful duo, who posed for the front cover of Playboy in April, have a bit of a dark past - they were both arrested for felony aggravated battery in January 2008.

The picture of Kristina above is in fact her mugshot from the arrest. Nice.

But Hugh's not one to hold grudges, and having shown themselves to be eager candidates, he's welcomed the twins into the Playboy Mansion in the traditional manner - with a nice big saliva swap. Awww.
