It seems that Helen Mirren isn't afraid to get people's backs up.
She's shared her thoughts once more, and we can't help thinking they'll cause some debate.
It seems Helen doesn't believe women are so much the fairer sex, to each other at least.
Talking about female journalists, Helen told the Sunday Times magazine:
"I'm more careful when I'm being interviewed by a woman because, from experience, I know there is a little stiletto knife hidden behind the back."
This chat then led to Helen discussing sexual assault court cases, as she went on: "In a rape case, the courts - in defence of a man - would select as many women as they could for the jury, because women go against women.
"Whether in a deep-seated animalistic way, going back billions of years, or from a sense of tribal jealousy or just antagonism, I don't know. But other women on a rape case would say she was asking for it.
"The only reason I can think of is that they're sexually jealous."
Oh, Helen, don't you know by now that comments like these will only cause controversy?
Back in September, the actress told GQ magazine that she'd been the victim of date rape on several occasions but hadn't reported it, and suggested that the victims of such incidents could not expect their attacker to be charged.
We can't help wondering if Helen's decided "shock" comments are going to be her "thing" from now on...
