David Hasselhoff was rushed to hospital after his teenage daughter found him unconscious on Saturday night.
The 56-year-old former Baywatch star has hit out at reports he was suffering from alcohol poisoning.
The star, who has famously battled with alcoholism, claims he was rushed to hospital wih possible food poisoning.
While reports claim the actor was drunk, his lawyers Melvin Goldsman and Marci Levine told US Mag the reports are untrue:
"Mr. Hasselhoff was at no time in the condition described in those stories.
"Mr. Hasselhoff spoke to his attorneys on Sunday and was absolutely fine."
The lawyers said food poisoning was possibly behind Hoff's hospital stay, and say there was only a "very slight amount" of alcohol contributing to his illness.
The actor's rep added: "Mr. Hasselhoff is both disturbed and saddened by the fact that a certain individual is disseminating grossly inaccurate stories about him to the press for ulterior motives."
