Ashlee Simpson and her rocker man Pete Wentz have tied the knot.

They got married on Saturday evening at the Simpson family home in Encino, California.

A spokesman for Ashlee told People: "We're delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening (Saturday) in front of family and close friends."

There's no wedding snaps yet, but Ashlee is said to have worn an ivory lace wedding gown designed by Monique Lhuillier.

The couple reportedly exchanged vows during an intimate ceremony with around 150 guests present, including their showbiz pals Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

Rumour has it that Ashlee's big sis' Jessica was maid of honour, while Pete's pet bulldog acted as ring-bearer.

Jess' man Tony Romo was also present at the celebrations.

Friends and family went onto enjoy an Alice In Wonderland themed reception with a sit-down dinner and live DJ.

Ashlee and Pete, who've been dating since 2006, got engaged just last month.

No word yet on why the wedding's taken place so quickly, but there has been a clamour of speculation lately from certain media sources that Ashlee's pregnant - hence the idea that she might want to wed before her bump starts showing.

However, Ashlee and her peeps have so far declined to comment on the rumours.
