If you'd heard the festive tale of a supermodel engagement then we're afraid to say it ain't true.

Rumours had spread that Gisele Bundchen and her American football boyf Tom Brady had got engaged over the hols.

But Tom's dad told The Boston Globe that these reports were nothing but "rumour, rumour, rumour."Tom Brady

He went on to say: "We don't know a thing about it. Nobody told me. We talked to him and there's nothing to say."

Gi's twin sis, Patricia, has also spoken out about the goss and said in an email to People that the engagement chat is "not true".

And just in case two denials weren't enough, a spokesman for Tom's football team also told People: "I heard the report that he (proposed) on a plane, but I don't think it's true. Tom keeps his private life private."

So that's another celebrity mess cleared up for you all.
