But the other celeb parent du jour is not to be outdone in the naming stakes.

Matthew McConaughey has confirmed his brand new little boy is called Levi Alves McConaughey.

But before you go making any Strauss-inspired jokes, know this...

Levi is in fact another name for the apostle Matthew in the bible, and that is why the McConaughey and his girlf have named the baby thus.

He blogged: "They were, in fact, two names for the same person."

"This particular 'time' represents my favourite verse in the book of Matthew in the Bible: 'If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be full of light.'"

But so as not to be left out, Levi's ma, Camila Alves, got her stamp in there as the middle name.

Matt added: "We welcome Levi Alves McConaughey into this wonderful life and look forward to livin' it with him."

What a bodacious baby name. Rad, even, some might say.
