There's a new twist in the custody battle for Michael Jackson's children.
The King of Pop's will has been filed in an LA court and he names singing legend Diana Ross as a potential guardian for his three children.
At the beginning of the week, a court granted his mother, Katherine Jackson, temporary guardianship of his children Prince Michael, Paris and Prince Michael II.
She's also been appointed the temporary administrator of his estate.
Michael's last will and testament, which is dated 7th July 2002, says that Diana should take custody of his children if his mother cannot.
According to reports, the document reads: "If any of my children are minors at the time of my death, I nominate my mother, Katherine Jackson, as guardian."
The will goes on to say if Katherine died before Michael or was incapacitated, Diana should get full custody.
The document reads: "If Katherine Jackson fails to survive me, or is unable or unwilling to act as guardian, I nominate Diana Ross as guardian."
Michael also excludes his ex-wife, Debbie Rowe, the mother of his two eldest children, from his will.
The will said: "I have intentionally omitted to provide (for) my former wife, Deborah Jean Rowe Jackson."
According to the will, his entire estate is valued at $500m (£300m), which has been left to the Michael Jackson Family Trust.
The family has also commented on the star's funeral, ruling out holding one at Neverland.
A family statement reads: "Contrary to previous news reports, the Jackson family is officially stating that there will be no public or private viewing at Neverland.
"Plans are underway regarding a public memorial for Michael Jackson, and we will announce those plans shortly."
Rumours have emerged today that a memorial service could be held for the megastar on Tuesday, either at the 92,000 capacity Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum or the 20,000 capacity Staples Centre, in order to accommodate the huge numbers of people expected to come for the event.
In other reports, a former bodyguard, Matt Fiddes, is alleging Michael had a girlfriend who he'd been with for years.
He said: "She wasn't a celebrity figure - absolutely not. I imagine she is distraught right now."
