Jermaine proudly declared that Michael Jackson was joining the Jackson 5 reunion.
But did he speak too soon?
Somebody had better let him know what's really going on...
In an astounding lack of communication between family members, Jermaine told an Australian reporter this week:
"This has been a long time coming for the Jackson family to get back together."
Clueless Jermaine went on to explain: "It is going to be more like a family affair. Janet's going to open and, of course, the original Jackson 5 - Michael, Randy and the whole family. We're in the studio, we're planning on being out there next year."
Not wasting any time in trampling all over his brother's dreams, Jacko retorted less than 48 hours later with a statement that read:
"My brothers and sisters have my full love and support, and we've certainly shared many great experiences, but at this time I have no plans to record or tour with them."
How embarrassing, Jermaine.
Jacko did of course not waste any time in plugging his own solo career when he stated that he was in the studio working on "new and exciting projects".
We're not gonna hold our breath waiting for these projects, Michael, but we're pretty sure they're not gonna top a Jackson 5 reunion.
