Jade Goody Jade Goody She's a trouper is Jade Goody.

For several gruelling months she's been battling against cervical cancer.

Yet she's determined to beat it and carry on smiling throughout.

The reality TV star put on a brave face as she arrived at the signing of her new autobiography Catch A Falling Star in London this weekend.

Despite what she's been through - having had chemotherapy, radiotherapy and undergone early menopause all in the past six weeks - the 27-year-old still managed to conjure up a smile for the cameras.

But being in front of the lens is something Jade must be used to by now, since she allowed a film crew to follow her for four weeks as she underwent daily radiation therapy.

In the documentary to be aired on Living, Jade pledged to "not let cancer be the better of me", even though "I feel like a 27-year-old trapped in a five-year-old's body".

Jade gave permission for the cameras to trail her as she attended a consultation in London's Royal Marsden Hospital, where she was told the chances of her reaching her 30th birthday were "now in the region of 40 per cent".

But despite the obvious trauma of such a prognosis, Jade remained plucky, saying:

"I will always be stronger than the cancer cell because I need to live."
