Jade GoodyJade Goody is being taken into hospital and is due to undergo an emergency operation today.

Jade needs the surgery to repair a blocked kidney.

As a result, she's had to put an end to her starring role as the Wicked Witch in Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs at the Lincoln Theatre Royal.

Basically, her doctors are saying that she'll not be fit enough to complete the panto run, which ends in four weeks.

It seems that Jade had been suffering flu-like symptoms and the specialists have said that her chemotherapy course has lowered her immune system.

Later it was revealed that they'd also uncovered a kidney problem, which could lead to kidney failure if left untreated. So now she's being taken into the Royal Marsden Hospital in central London to deal with the issue.

Her agent told The Sun: "We are hoping she can come out of hospital again quickly."
