Jade Goody She might be in the middle of a vicious battle with cervical cancer...

But each time we see Jade Goody we're more and more gobsmacked by her strength of spirit.

The 27-year-old manages to raise a grin on her way to the supermarket.

Earlier this month, Jade revealed that she had undergone a hysterectomy as a side-effect of the treatment for her cancer, as well as confirming reports that she only has a 50-50 chance of surviving the illness.

So it comes as a huge relief to see the reality TV star smiling, as she strolls across the forecourt of Costco Wholesale in north London.

And it appears that, at last, she has some small reason to beam, after being granted a three-week reprieve from her gruelling treatment regime.

"I was finally let out of hospital last week and when I got home the boys dragged me upstairs," Jade wrote in her column for New this week.

"They've got a big chalkboard on the wall of their bedroom and on it they had written, 'Welcome home, Mummy, with lots of love', with loads of hearts and kisses.

"It's so terrific being home. My radiotherapy is over now and I get a nice three-week break before starting my chemo again next month."
