Yep, the word on the celeb grapevine is that Abbie may soon be spending a lot of time with Reese's current squeeze, Jake.

But in a purely professional manner, of course.

An insider told In Touch that producers on Jake's next movie are considering Abbie as hiJake and Reese Witherspoon s leading lady.

The sci-fi flick is yet to be named but is about an expedition to the moon and is due out in 2010.

A source told In Touch: "This is one of those only-in-Hollywood situations.

"It could work out as long as Reese doesn’t visit Jake on the set."

We'll hold our breath until we get confirmation on this little titbit - but we can't imagine that it would be easy for any of the four star-crossed lovers to stomach.
