Britney Spears' little sis has been caught up in a pornography investigation.

According to US reporJamie Lynn Spearsts, Jamie Lynn has been hoodwinked by some crafty folk.

And now police are on the hunt to track down those involved.

The word is someone has attempted to sell on a private snap of 17-year-old Jamie Lynn breastfeeding her baby, Maddie.

TMZ has reported that an investigation has begun and police are trying to get hold of the stolen snap, originally taken by Jamie's boyfriend, Casey Aldridge.

Apparently, he took a memory card with 12 family pics stored on it - including Jamie Lynn feeding her new daughter - down to be developed at his local Wal-Mart in Louisiana.

But it seems that somewhere along the way the private pics have fallen into the wrong hands, perhaps with extra copies being made.

According to the police, attempts have been made to sell them - including the one with the naked breast - but because she's under 18, this breaks federal law, which considers them pornography.

So if they get their hands on those involved they could be facing some pretty serious charges.
