It's been claimed that a paparazzo has taken things a step too far.

A photographer has been accused of stalking Jamie Lynn and her fiance, Casey Aldridge.

The bloke was arrested Tuesday in Mississippi after the Spears family filed a complaint against him.

Edwin Merrino, who was released later in the day, has denied harassing the couple.

He told the Associated Press that he was at least 200 feet away from the couple when he was trying to take a picture of them using a telephoto lens.

The snapper told them: "I just think since I was the only one there, it was just easier for them to single me out.

"The one picture I got was kind of by luck. I got lucky when I saw them at Wal-Mart when I was buying deodorant."

Hmm, not that lucky really as he's now got himself a date in court on the 8th June.
