Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner It's a new year and a new baby for Jennifer Garner.

The star has given birth to another baby girl.

With three ladies in the house, Ben Affleck will sure have his hands full in 2009.

Jen and Ben's rep confirmed the happy news to People magazine last night, saying: "Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck gave birth to a healthy baby girl."

(We actually think it was Jen doing all the work, but anyhoo...).

In the weeks leading up to the birth, a cool, calm and collected Jen was spotted out and about in LA, even dropping into a farmers' market with the couple's three-year-old daughter Violet, a couple of days ago.

And it seems that all of Jen's practise with little Vi will make baby number two's entry into the world a whole lot smoother.

Even her Alias co-star Victoria Garber is bigging up Jen's motherhood skills:

"It's her second child," she told People. "She knows what to do. She's probably the best mother I've ever witnessed."

Jen confirmed her pregnancy back in August jokingly telling People: "Oh, I'm not pregnant. I just had a lot of carbs for breakfast. It's just - what do they call it - a breakfast pouch?"
