So why is it that Jennifer Aniston is still cast in the role of poor ol' lonely spinster by much of the world's media?
It's a label the star herself is acutely aware of.
"I'm not going to ignore the pink elephant in the living room," Jen told Elle magazine.
"It's fine. I can take it. If I'm the emblem for 'this is what it looks like to be the lonely girl getting on with her life,' so be it."
The 40-year-old star, who divorced her ex Brad Pitt in 2005, says she's happy to help other people who find themselves in a similar situation.
“I support women, men, anybody who is in a place that's not their strongest and who is ready to push forward," she pledged.
