The TV hunk took a tumble in Monaco after hosting the World Music Awards.

Poor Jesse was actually quite hurt, breaking his leg and falling unconscious after hitting his head.

The poor chap was sitting on the ledge of a balcony at the famous Jimmy'z club in Monaco, when he toppled and fell 30-40ft.

His rep told Sky Showbiz: "He slipped backwards over the balcony at the after-party."

Jesse was then rushed to a hospital in nearby Grasse, France where he had an X-ray to confirm that he had fractured his fibular bone.

The actor then flew on to London, where they took a Cat scan to check all was well with his head and brain.

People magazine report that the scan came up clean, his rep telling them: "Jesse knows he's had a very lucky escape. The accident could have been fatal."

His rep also confirmed that the actor had a couple of glasses of champagne after working at the awards show.
