Jess has stepped out wearing a t-shirt with a slogan which reads, "Real girls eat meat".

And, according to Entertainmentwise she's gone and upset Peta with her sartorial statement.

They report a Peta spokesperson has said: "Jessica Simpson's meaty wardrobe malfunction makes us thankful that no one is looking to her for food advice. Chicken of the sea anyone?

"The woman who thought that 'buffalo wings' came from buffalos would benefit from some good veggie brain food."

Other reports say Jess may have worn the t-shirt to have a bit of a poke at her current beau, Tony Romo's ex, Carrie Underwood, who has twice been named as the world's sexiest vegetarian by Peta.

We feel a feud coming on.
